06.09.08 | Naomi 'The Nightingale-Rose' Parszos Dearest Mr. Yates,
I have just read of your work. I am greatly interested and my immagination is piqued!
If you have any copies of 'Oh! Pere Lachaise: Oscar's Wilde Purgatory' left i would love to read it.
I am an impoverished actor who has recently moved across the world to Dublin and am in need of a small amount of pitty and charity!!
Kindest regards,
Naomi 'The Nightingale-Rose'

01.12.08 | Jim Yates Hi ,
My name is Jim Yates. I’m an author and visual artist and live in Dublin.
My satirical novel, Oh! Père Lachaise: Oscar’s Wilde Purgatory, was launched last September at the Oscar Wilde House, Dublin.
It’s a tale about Oscar in a Parisian division of Purgatory in the company of Jim Morrison, Jane Avril, Chopin, Balzac, Musset, Delacroix, Edith Piaf, and Seurat, Colette and Proust. His soul is uneasy and his friends try to find a way of rescuing it from an eternity of pain. He confronts his sexuality under the guiding hand of the Divine Psychiatrist - A not to serious look at inflated egos and sexuality.
Perfect for the Wilde connoisseur.
The novel is being made into a play.
There are 20 complimentary copies to be given to away. If you wish to have a copy please let me know where to send it. The copies are only available to those involved in the arts, in particular those in the theatre.
Regards.
Jim

09.17.07 | Bill mayer I loved the performance and the story, especially having just gotten back from 3 weeks in Bulgaria.
The next day I read an article in the September "Hightower Lowdown" about "the lunatic National Animal Identification System". Go to:
You won't believe it!
09.07.07 | Marian Bachev Hi, everybody!
I`m Marian Bachev – 31 years old – an actor and the last one who performed this great role in this amazing play “Sako ot velur” (“Velveteen’s jacket”) in Sofia, Bulgaria.
I heard about your enormous success and if you are interested in I could send you some photos of our performance. It’s necessary just to send me an available e-mail.
This part (The Bureaucrat) is one of my favorites in my career and I have been awarded for this performance as a Best actor in BG drama 5 years ago!
So – nice to meet you!
Best,
Marian
08.27.07 | Pavlina Tcherneva I understand that the play will be performed in September in NY. Can you please provide me with time and date of all future performances in the NY area.
Thank you very much,
Pavlina
08.15.07 | Would like to review your show for alternative newspaper The Jackson Free Press, an alternative newspaper that serves the Jackson, Mississippi metropolitan area, has asked me to review a New York artistic event that features a former Mississippian.
I believe that Michael Freeland is a Mississippi native. If so, I would like to write a short piece on your show (300 words) with a few quotes from Michael, for publication in the JFP.
Would whoever receives this message forward it to Michael? My email address is anson06614@hotmail.com.
Many thanks,
Alan Haley
07.22.07 | clark Wow.. yesterdays rehearsal was great!!! It seems that everyone is finding their voice and the characters are coming to life. Maria.. you are AMAZING!! You inspire everyone around you, not only with your talent, but your kindness and compassion as well. I am so glad to be a part of this. Ciao
07.15.07 | Amy Just want you to know...the word about your play is spreading here in Ohio! We have shirts and magnets bearing the sheep logo and people ask, "What's with this character?" So, we tell them all about Baaahhh! and when it's going to debut. I'm not sure these people will travel to NYC to see the show, but at least they will have heard about it. It's the little things sometimes...
06.25.07 | Jackie Goldfinger Hello "baaahhh!!!"!
I'm writing from "the terrible girls" - an irreverent
dark comedy being produced at the Fringe this year.
After reading your website, it appears that we might
attract a similar audience.
I was wondering if you would be interested in trading
blurbs and websites - then we'd print your information
in our program, and you'd print our information in
yours. We'd also be happy to trade online website
links, if you're interested.
Read about us online: www.theterriblegirls.com
I look foward to seeing "baaahhh!!!" in New York.
Talk soon,
Jackie Goldfinger
06.20.07 | Juan Duran Looks like a great show, wish you the best
06.12.07 | Tom Hedlund Wow, Maria, what a faaahhhntaaahhhstic website you've created for our show! I can hardly wait to start rehearsing! I don't have a clue as to what sort of char-acters I'm going to create, other than the crack-addled ideas I came up with during the audition! (Just kidding, I've never touched narcotics, but you'd think otherwise!) It occurred to me that Ivan Antonov must start at the bottom of the bureacracy and work his way up, so that is where I will begin with the many faces of the bureaucrat.
